Begin a Basic Invert by standing on the side of the pole, inside arm is at a 90 degree angle, and shoulders slightly turned in towards the pole. Place the outside hand above the bottom strong arm inside hand. When in a single grip with all fabric in one hand or a double arm/hand grip the same applies. Standing at side of pole, just step and lift to where your feet are at least one foot above where your hands are. Legs will wrap around pole, release the fabric with the arms, and come down however you would like. ALWAYS have a spotter when learning any inverted movements for the first time.
