VIDEO SPECIFICATIONS

Video specifications are easy!  Once selected, we will immediately activiate your membership so you can have a look regarding other video styles and tastes.  In general, simply follow these guidelines.

WHERE TO FILM:  Pole or aerial studio environment is recommended

RECORDING DEVICE: You may use virtually any consumer grade recording device so long as audio and video are clear

VIDEO FORMAT:  .mp4 preferred with file size less than 30 mb, please.

HOW MANY VIDEOS:  4 to 6 separate videos, more is acceptable if you wish

CONTENT:  Video content may include specialized instruction, technique points, combos, sequences, floor work, dance moves, flexibility moves or sequences, strength training, safety tips, choreography, and more.

LENGTH:  Most videos are 2 to 5 minutes long with individual moves.  However, we love combos and routines where you film Move A, then Move B and then the combo of Move A + Move B with transitions as three separate videos.

TEACHING FORMAT:  Most guest instructors film only themselves instructing the move, but you are welcome to include someone else in the video if you wish.  In general, we ask that you introduce each video with "Hi, my name is _____ from ______ and I'm going to show you a move I like to call the _______."   Most videos work well if you demonstrate the move, then show the detailed break down of the move, and then demonstrate the move again, but you may adjust the sequence and format depending on the material.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: In general, we ask you to provide a mixture of difficulty ranging across Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and if desired, Extreme.

MATERIAL OWNERSHIP:  You fully own all the rights to your knowledge and intellectual property.  We make no claim thereof.  We do, however, ask that the specific videos you provide us are flimed only for PoleandAerial.com use. We do NOT sell or individually profit from your videos. They are a value add to the membership community.

HOW TO SEND VIDEO:  Please email to info@poleandaerial.com using a free service such as WeTransfer, HighTail, YouSendIt or DropBox.
